10% of all our BeeStick® sales are donated to help our bees.

What has happened to our pollinators? How will this effect the future of our trees, food, health and well being?

Queen of the Sun What are the bees telling us

Queen of the Sun:What Are The Bees Telling Us? is an award winning film. It shows us in an artful and entertaining way, the vital role our bees play in the success of our health, our food supply, and our well being. There's a lot to learn about the causes and solutions to Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD).

For 2011 We have helped Queen of the Sun have their own BeeStick® to sell on their website to help raise funds. We hope the word can be spread with the gift of honey in homes across the world. Find out more about www.QueenOfTheSun.com and see a screening near you. This movie will inspire you, give you hope. It shows us all how we can make a difference. This year we also used the % of our sales to purchase the Queen of the Sun:What Are The Bees Telling Us? license for two Educational Centers, Penn State University and Bryn Athyn College. They will use the film to educate their students, faculty and communities. Penn State is the leader in the scientific research in CCD.

For 2012 Tea Tangent® helped a naturopath, Dr. Wil Spencer,  with his research for CCD. (www.vibrantbees.com) Dr. Wil’s discovery is that minerals, mixed with the bee's "sweet water" has brought back the bee's strength. His minerals help the bees to easily survive winters. In addition, his bees are not dying from molds. His experiments also found when the sweet water is filled with minerals, the honey is healthier for people too!

Tea Tangent® also purchased a Queen of the Sun:What Are The Bees Telling Us?  license for our local Germantown Friends school, where we participate in the Germantown Friends Craft Show.

For 2013-15 Tea Tangent® is funding a project to help the Queen Bee survive the winter climate of the North East.  This involves a great deal of technical information. As we begin to simplify this information we will then present it on this website.
